Hornbillfestival.com was awarded the eNortheast Award 2011 for Tourism. The award was presented by Nagaland's Chief Secretary Shri Lalthara to the website's Team represented by Dr. Yan Murry and Mhathung Murry at a grand function held at RIELIT, Kohima on 25 Nov. 2011
Altogether 9 Information and Communication Technology (ICT) projects from Northeastern states were awarded in different categories. The award was organized by Youthnet, Dept. of IT&C. Govt of Nagaland, North East Development Foundation and Elysium Tech.
Since 2007, Hornbillfestival.com has been providing information, attending to the needs of tourists and has been initiating innovative online services to make it easy for tourists to visit the popular Hornbill festival of Nagaland.
